Masakr riff hýbe nejenom s tebou, ale s celou planetou.

Úplně mi uniklo, že Kurtizány z 25. Avenue vydali v listopadu 2020 skvělou desku. Jednou ze skladeb je i spektakulární Gréta, jejíž úvodní riff patří do kategorie přírodních úkazů. Okamžitě mě chytnul, musel jsem popadnout basu a zahrát si ho spolu s kapelou. Rád bych se s vámi podělil o jeho transkripci.

Nejdřív si ale poslechněte celou skladbu zde:

Basová linka je velmi efektivní, v hlavním riffu hraje jenom úvodní dvě osminy a pak závěrečnou frázi. Tlustá fuzz kytara a bubny dostatečně vyplňují prostor.

V transkripci níže ale najdete riff zapsaný tak, jak ho hraje kytara, tj.unisono. Ladění je v drop D, tzn. podlaďte si spodní strunu E o tón níže do D. Tomáš Vartecký (duše a riffmistr kapely) je zkušený hudebník a skladatel a měl určitě své důvody, proč je basová linka takto úsporná. Celá skladba nemá ani vteřinu navíc a je postavená na chytrých a efektivních aranžích. Nicméně, zkuste si riff zahrát v jeho monumetální lichosti, divokosti a plnosti s kytarou.
